Here is information on books I received from a friend of mine who is a special educator in Chennai..She gifted them to Anandita.I have not started using them for Anandita yet but after going through them i found them simple,easy to understand and use and definitely worth it not just for children who have learning issues but for all children who need a strong base in mathematical concepts of Metric measurements,decimals,percentages,geometry,percent concepts,fractions..

hey do comment a litlle more about how you taught her the basic concept of counting, My daughter can count only till 5 ubderstably. how to increse the span.
ReplyDeletehi motheroftwo,on this same blog pls click on the label of maths concepts ..there are few things i tried with anandita that worked. Use objects like matchsticks,rajma beans or an abacus board to teach so that the child can touch,feel and count.It also depends on the kind of learner your child is-whether visual or auditory. hope it helps or do mail me on joananya@gmail.com
